Cane River Water Safety
The completion of an approved boating safety course is a requirement for anyone to operate a powerboat on Cane River Lake. A list of classes can be obtained from the Natchitoches Times Weekend Edition. To obtain A State On-Line course please visit www.wlf.state.la.us. There will be a $15.00 fee to take the On-Line course from the state's web site.

All Boating Safety Classes require sign-up to attend set classes: March 7, April 21, May 2, May 26, June 6, June 23, July 11, July 28, Aug 8, Aug 25, Sept 8, Oct 10, Nov 24, Dec 15.
